Spread across three connected buildings and two floors on Hill Street in the Cathedral Quarter, Waterman houses six distinct event spaces, each sympathetically restored within a Grade B listed building that started life in the 1800s as a wine and spirits trader before becoming the Bushmills Head Office and bonded warehouse. That heritage is still visible in the exposed brick, the original features, and the character you simply can't replicate in a modern conference hotel — while the infrastructure underneath is entirely contemporary and built for events. Between our spaces, we can comfortably host corporate bookings from an intimate boardroom-style meeting through to a full reception for up to 90 guests.
What sets a corporate event at Waterman apart is what happens on the plate. Every event is catered by the same kitchen team behind Waterman Bistro, awarded a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain & Ireland, and led by chef Niall McKenna. Our food and drink offering leans heavily on Northern Ireland's own producers — our bread, pasta, and ice cream are all made in-house, and our menus are built to reflect a local, seasonal larder rather than a standard corporate buffet. It's the kind of catering that gets talked about after the event has finished, not just tolerated during it.
