JR will bring his award-winning dessert trolley from Ballymaloe to Belfast for an exclusive one-off event to celebrate his book "Ballymaloe Desserts".

The Ballymaloe dessert trolly is coming to Belfast for a one-off exclusive cookery demonstration with JR Ryall.
JR will demonstrate the following seasonal menu
- Panna Cotta With Espresso Jelly
- Champagne Rhubarb Tartlets
- Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce
- Walnut Meringue Gateau with Pear
- Citrus Fruit Salad
- Pistachio Langue de Chat
Tickets will include bubbles on arrival, a tasting plate of all desserts and a tasting of carefully paired wines. Guests will have the opportunity to meet JR and buy a signed copy of his latest book.
About JR Ryall
After years of working at Ballymaloe House, JR was offered the position of Head Pastry Chef by Myrtle Allen. In 2019 the Ballymaloe dessert trolley picked up an award at 'The World Restaurant Awards' in Paris and just recently JR won 'Best Pastry Chef of the Year at the Food & Wine awards. With his recent release of his book 'Ballymaloe Desserts', we are honoured that JR has chosen Waterman House to showcase his sweet delights.
